After spending a few brief days at home-which wasn’t without it’s drama, as I rescued a dog that had escaped from a vets I was driving past one day-I am now on a sit in The Fens, Norfolk, looking after two dogs, a Clumber spaniel and a Briard, two new breeds to me. Storm Dennis, hits us all this weekend. I shall be restricting our outdoor activity to the garden rather than venture to open fields. A ball being thrown a few times and of course toilet times being adhered to, I am sure they will appreciate time outside, but in a safe environment, rather than struggle with the potential of flying debris hitting them or their eyes and ears being damaged with anything, also flying around in the air, on open fields or wooded areas. It should only be for a couple of days before normal walks will be resumed. So please, take care with your pets and animals this weekend, adapt to the weather conditions, to keep safe.
